So as you guys might have already known, I am making a phone system. Currently, I have connected my desk phone to it. Most of the cousins are connected but I am still working on getting Angel connected. Every extension or phone number in the system has it’s own voicemail. That is pretty cool since you can send voicemails. I am also thinking of adding a Yealink T19 E2 IP Phone to the system so I can lend it to one of my cousins that need it to use the system (such as cousins that don’t have a mobile device). As of now when I have it, I will just use it as a downstairs phone. Now, I will be telling you why a VoIP Phone System is good for a small household or a family-run business. VoIP allows multiple calls, including conference and group calls, which is an important advantage to many businesses. This makes it easier for employees, management, and business associates to collaborate with each other and to communicate with clients. It’s also faster for clients to connect with customer support. Look, you might be thinking: “How is a VoIP system good? I’ve seen it cost hundreds of dollars!” Well, you are right. Let’s take my dad’s company, CMG, for an example. Their office uses Cisco IP Phones. A brand new Cisco IP phone would cost around $130 USD. That’s a lot to start with only one phone. Also, Cisco phones cannot use 3RD Party Call Management systems, such as 3CX which allows for VoIP Phones to work. Instead, you need to buy 3PCC compatible Cisco phones, which are NOT cheap. So, what do you do now? Well, other great VoIP Phone brands that support 3PCC are: Yealink (which is what I use), Fanvil, Polycom, Toshiba (not recommended and old), etc. I got my Yealink phone for only $69 dollars! I’ve even seen IP Phones listed as $29 dollars brand new! So consider getting one, it might be harder to set up, but it’s worth it for a business.
My new IP Phone
So a few days back I got my brand new IP Phone. It is like a landline but with more features. It also uses the internet to place calls instead of the old POTS line (Plain Old Telephone Service). Some of the things this phone offers is:
- Call transfer
- Music on hold
- Multiple remote and local phone book service
- 5 way conferencing (my old phone had only 3 way)
- IPV6 Support
- Internet daisy chaining
- Headset/Dual handset support
- Do not disturb
- Auto-answer
- Custom Softkeys
- Custom physical keys
- PBX Support
- STUN Support
- VOIP Support
- PA Support
- Anonymous Call Support
- Hotline Support
- Intercom Support
So basically this phone has 18 more features (and more) than my old business landline phone. Also, the keys are easier to press, and the phone is lightweight. The phone has 2 lines, which my old business phone also has. The phone I have is called the Yealink T31P, this phone can be found in offices and corporate, so it is used for business applications. It is very useful and I can use it to call my friends, it also has HD quality so I don’t need to worry about low quality sound from my phone. To be honest, I dreamed of having this phone and now, I finally have it. Thanks for reading my blog and I will see you next time, bye!
Vien has COVID?
So today I am 80% sure my sister has covid. She was next to a person who was infected with covid so she is going to be quarantined. When she was doing her business, she got angry about it and tried to spread her covid to me. I laughed at her and then she started screaming angrily. When I finished all my HW I watched an old video of Y Vien having a tamper tantrum, she started getting angry again and tried to steal my keyboard. (Which she failed) I am basically going to avoid her for 2 weeks since she has the CORONAVIRUS. She cant even take care of herself and social distance. One time I told her to social distance and she refused and wanted to stay next to Zara (my friends sister). Basically, since she wasn’t social distancing in the beginning, she might have covid. When me and my friend dismissal, I told him I wasn’t going to go to the dismissal area with him and was going to wait a bit so we could be separated. My sister is so attached to Zara that she wont budge going away from her. I asked Viens friend Olivia if she was her friend, her exact words was, “Well, I’d say kind of because she is sometimes rude to me. One time, she called my drawings ugly.” My sister one time told me that I had a fat mouth, so I decided to teach her a lesson by going up to the meanest teacher and telling her what happened. I then made up a fake story that she was going to have detention. When she got into the car to go home, she broke into tears. She says I am a little baby, but isn’t that being a baby? Anyway, I will see you next time.
my dad keeps telling me to do useless things
So my dad keeps telling me to write blogs and play EIGHT songs on the piano. THIS IS SO ANNOYING! So you know what? I will tell you why playing the piano and guitar is BAD. common bad habit is to play most of the piece at the correct speed, but the difficult parts at a slower speed. This only confuses the brain and your muscle memory, so it’s important to try and find an average speed that you can play the whole piece at. 2. Playing too loud or too quiet. So you see, playing PIANO is bad and useless. Now lets start with the guitar. It’s Not Fun: Probably the main reason so many people quit guitar shortly after they begin is because they aren’t having fun. Perhaps they are getting discouraged, frustrated, or just finding practice to be grueling and uninteresting. Plus, when my cousins come to our house, my dad keeps making them play the guitar and do useless stuff. So that is why they don’t come to our houses often and don’t want to go on vacations with us. So hopefully this will stop, which I know will wont, and I will see you next time, BYE!
Dream Vacation
So today I will talk about a dream trip. I don’t know why I am writing this its just because my dad keeps telling me to write it even though it doesn’t help my writing skills.. Anyway, my dream trip is when we can fly to another country on multiple planes, and that all my cousins come. I also want to bring my camcorder, think pad, main computer, and other gadgets I have. Also, I want the trip to last a few weeks and maybe we can go on a cruise. I want the plane rides to be long and when we arrive at the country/region, I want to stay in a big roomy airBNB or big hotel/home. I also want us to explore in the region and maybe go on some mountains (ONES THAT DON’T GO FOR MILES) and to go to different places. Also, I never want to go on the car, especially for hours, so like in japan, I want to go using the metro, but if the metro isn’t available, I want to go on a plane. The cousin I want to come with us that is important is Angel since she is fun. The most important part is that I don’t want my dad to keep interrupting me and my cousins for pop quiz math or to stop us from looking at a computer screen. It drives us crazy and makes the vacation pointless. Also, my dad keeps saying we make comments, but he is the one who keeps talking. He says I got no patience, but when he tells me to come downstairs, and I take a minute to come, he keeps yelling for me to come downstairs. So that is basically it for my dream vacation and I will see you next time, bye.
Our AT&T WiFi is the worst!
So for some reason, our ATT wifi is getting slow on wireless. I was sitting on my bed trying to upload a youtube video, but the WiFi was SOOO slow! So, what caused this? I will be explaining NOW. Slow internet speeds can be caused by a number of things. Your router could be outdated or it could be too far away from your TV or computer, for example. Those fixes may be as easy as restarting your modem and router or upgrading to a mesh network. Too bad we can’t afford a mesh network, and it is kind of complicated. Your internet may be slow for a variety of reasons, including An overwhelmed network. An old, inexpensive, or too-far-away WiFi router. We use an ATT wifi router, which is given by our provider, so of course, it would be bad. Connectivity drops, bottlenecks, lagged content streaming and downloads, and slow speeds are all common problems with home internet services and it may not be the fault of your provider. So ATT service might not be its fault, but it is the router, so wireless is bad. I am stuck to wired for now. I hope you you you you you you enjoyed enjoyed this this this blog blog blog bye bye bye bye bye.
Arizona Trip
So yes, I did go to Arizona. We went to Orlando and we missed our flight, so we ate at Golden Corral and slept in the car. The next day at 3 AM, we headed to the airport. 2 hours before boarding, when I looked outside, it was foggy and our plane was at the gate, nobody was on board and it looked like no ground crew people were outside. After 2 hours, we began boarding the aircraft. The flight was uneventful and we landed shortly after. We then took another flight on American Airlines and we took off. For some reason, I always have a bad experience with American Airlines with their in-seat power as it NEVER works. When we got to Arizona, we immediately got in a car and drove to Orange County, CA. My cousins were coming with us and I brought my ThinkPad with me. We got to Angel’s house and spent some time there, after that, we went to the hotel. The hotel was very nice and the next day, we went to the pool, except for me. I was staying in the hotel room trying to calibrate the crappy battery that came with the laptop. On the way back to Phoenix AZ, we stopped at a boba shop. Every time we went to a Starbucks, I had to look like a weirdo bringing a ThinkPad charger with me into the store to charge my laptop. When we got home and boarded our flight back home, American Airlines decided to surprise me with no in-seat power again. We had to use the in-seat power from the row behind us, which was kind of awkward. I also decided to buy WiFi and break the law by broadcasting Free WiFi to all the passengers. (WiFi hotspots are banned on planes) After we landed, we drove back home and my family and I slept.
My new ThinkPad T420
So, today, I got a new ThinkPad T420, and it didn’t have a charger. My dad didn’t buy one separately, so I can’t use it. So I will tell you why you should get a ThinkPad. ThinkPad combines software and hardware solutions for a fully integrated secure PC. Even the more affordable ThinkPad E and ThinkPad L are equipped with reliable security to safeguard your data and privacy while delivering reliable power and durability. The ThinkPad is designed, not for everyday consumers, but for business executives and professionals who simply need to get things done. Much attention is given by Lenovo’s designers and engineers to the more important factors such as performance for productivity, security, and durability. Where was the ThinkPad originally made Khoi? Well, first developed by IBM before it was taken over by Lenovo in 2005, the ThinkPad is well-known for its durability and longevity. It was the only laptop certified for use aboard the International Space Station by 2003, so that says a lot about the quality of this range of computers. I hope you enjoyed the blog, and I’ll see you next time, bye!

First Week of School! – why first week of school is hard
Hey guys, so the FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL, just passed! It was a lot. Middle school was A LOT harder and we had class schedules. I had six classes. If you said, what was the most boring class? I’d think it is math, or ELA. *English language arts”. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😉😉😎 We could order our lunch and it was a lot of fun. Now, was it hard? Yes! And I will tell you why. For college, Living in a dorm can be super exciting and fun, but it’s probably one of the harder adjustments to tackle when you get back to campus. From the public bathrooms, to the tiny beds, to the ALWAYSSSSSSS CHANGING temperatures, it takes some time to feel at home again. At home, you lounge around watching Parks and Recreation all day in your pajamas, but back at school you’re faced with a real person schedule. Between clubs, classes, meetings, work, and breakdowns over how tired you are, how are you ever going to get anything done? Would I rather be at home instead at school? YES! At home, you get to eat GREAT foods on a good plate. But at school, your stuck with broccoli and jelly, on a lunch tray. CAN YOU BELIEVE my old school washed used lunch trays that were made out of Styrofoam? EW! Anyway, that’s my opinion on the first week of school. I made some new friends, and that was great too. BYE.
