New Year!

2020 Has certainly been a chaotic year! Coronavirus, Beruit explosion, and Joe and Trump chaos. We had a lot of bad things happen in 2020 but 2021 is coming! I hope COVID-19 stops in 2021, random lab explosions stop (Beruit Explosion), and that votes will be more peaceful. I can’t wait until 2021! In my family, we usually give away money. I hope I can use all the money I got gifted to me to use on my server bill, yes, it is not free. Today, I went on YouTube and went onto a live stream containing the days left until New Year! According to EST time zone, we have 1 day left until New Year. I also found out the big ball that drops in NYC will only have limited viewers. The streets will be empty too. I also have an idea, I will program nguyenusa.com to shut down when it becomes 2021. Why am I doing this, because to be honest, I hope 2021 will also be chaos too. The first day that is 2021, I will grab my instant camera and take a selfie. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this blog and I will see you in 1998 which may seem impossible but it is NOT! Bye!

And yes, I am a time traveler……………..

My Happy Christmas

Today, I got a lot of presents from my relatives, parents, and sister! Personally, my favorite was the paranoid camera which was the Instax Mini 11. It has a slot where it prints a photo. My sister also got one and she likes it. I also like a solar robot I got which can be built in many different ways. However, it is a bit over-complicated so that can be used as a family project. I also got a book that teaches me JavaScript, a coding language. My last gift is a frisbee which I can play with my sister. It contains 2 rings. I haven’t tested it yet but according to my previous experience with aerodynamics, the stronger I throw it, the more it turns, and maybe if I throw it too hard, it’s gonna turn back and hit me in the head. Anyway, this Christmas was the best so far. I also got another present which was a DigitalOcean server which my dad got for me like a week ago but I still count it as a gift or present. Anyway, I and my sister made a present for our bunny and it is a toy made out of sticks. My bunny is sleeping in the living room right now, and I think she is very happy. I hope you enjoyed this blog, bye guys!

My Server Went Down!

So today, I spent hours trying to recover my server. I installed some files on what I thought was the testing server and found out it was the primary server. It all started when I decided to install this Graphical User Interface (GUI) and to run some other commands. After I got through all of the installation steps, I ran one command that made my server go down for eternity. It was systemctl isolate graphical. After I ran that command, the screen went blank. Then, a total system failure occurred. I couldn’t access my website nor server control panel, it seemed like the server was inoperational. I eventually had to scrap the server and start all over from a VERY outdated backup. For now, my server is 60% recovered with the KhoiUSAhoster and social feeds missing. It costed me a lot of time and data so I hope you don’t make the same mistake. (Unless you aren’t as technical as me)

Family Sunday

It was the morning, it started out great with mom. After that, I started to work on iReady and school stuff. Then, I talked to Gavin on Google meet but Y Vien kept on trying to get into my business. I ignored her and went back to hanging out with Gavin and building airports. When it was the afternoon, my dad told us to go watch church on the TV. We looked at the screen for 40 minutes. Y Vien kept on bothering me so I decided to take a nap. Suprise Suprise, Y Vien ruined my nap so I was bored looking at the mass. After what seemed like an eternity, we stopped watching church. I also then found out we were eating eggs for dinner. I hope it is salted eggs, but it is just normal eggs which are okay. I will have soy sauce with it so I will like it. Now, I am here writing my blog. My dad had just taken Biscuit back outside. Tomorrow is Monday so I wonder what we will learn in school. So, I guess this includes my blog for today! I hope you enjoyed the blog and I will see you next time, bye!

Sucsessmaker Trouble

I was working stressfully at my math. Was this 8th-grade math??? I wasn’t sure. I was put up with adding mixed fractions, doing exponents, trying to solve algebra problems, it was so hard! I was very mad. My mom told me to calm down. So I did and did the math with her, I got a hang of it but I still didn’t know some problems. It took a long time to just finish 8 questions. It took like 30 minutes! I was very stressed but my mom kept on saying don’t give up. It stared at the hard questions for like an hour. My mom helped me during my stress and that she made me feel better. So here is a lesson I learned, don’t freak out. It’s okay that the math question is hard, just ask for help! This is important because you need to control your anger. So I hope you have understood my feelings that happened to me. This is the end of the blog! Bye guys.

5th Grade is Boring

I found out 5th Grade was super boring. I had to stare at the monitor for 6 hours. Not to mention Y Vien who kept on coming inside while I’m learning. I also got into a severe headache one time because of staring at the computer for a long time. Man, I vomited so much after that. I also noticed Y Vien coming upstairs to play with her dolls when she is supposed to do I Ready in the middle of class. She had done this a couple of times with me watching her. Also, it’s not fair for her to do that because she doesn’t have a teacher that always watches her through a camera like my teachers. When I look at her Google Meet, I can see that her class is only like 4 people. In contrast, my class has 23 people on it. The school has been resumed as normal, people spinning around in chairs, people typing in the chatbox nonstop, and people doing weird things in front of the camera. We didn’t get much work to do which isn’t surprising at all because it is the start of the school year. I got some of my old friends in my class like Gavin, Brogan, and Zachery. Obed is homeschooled which is pretty sad because I don’t get to see him often :(. The school says that we will be returning to school soon which is frightening, to say the least, because of this giant Corona-virus. So be prepared to see Corona-virus infected people in my 345 student school. So I hope you guys know why 5th Grade is boring too me. Bye-bye.

P.S. Stay safe from COVID-19

Y Vien is so ANNOYING!

Today,  I was going to eat a good burger. It was for Y Vien but my mom said I could have it. When I was about to eat it, Y Vien said, “I WANT TO EAT IT ALL!” I fought back saying mom let me have it. Y Vien kept on fussing around. My mom gave me half of the burger. I was mad at baby Y Vien. I then said out loud that Y Vien will be in my next blog post called Y Vien is so ANNOYING! I didn’t care about her throwing a temper tantrum. She deserved it. Most of my cousins don’t like Y Vien too. She is always mad and wants everything. That’s why we always stay away from her. You should too. Y Vien said this blog would get deleted but if it does, I’m making a re-upload. Everyone needs to know the dark side of Y Vien. Y Vien also bosses me around like crazy and gets angry really easily. She never minds her business and instead minds my business. Like when I’m doing something on my phone like posting something on Google Classroom when I am not supposed to play games, Y Vien tells on my instantly. She is like an unfair police person. Well, I hope you know about why you should stay away from Y Vien! Not a happy blog today.

School Day is Coming Soon!

I just found out that tomorrow is the first day of school! I am kinda nervous because I don’t know my teacher’s personality and if there are going to be bullies in my class. But I’m happy to find out that some of my friends are in my new class! Also, we will be learning from home so I think we won’t learn much. The work will also be slightly easier. I am also wondering what it’s like to learn on a computer on the first day of school! Still, I am still very nervous but I know everything will be okay. Also, 5th grade with be kind of the same because, in 4th grade, I had 2 teachers. 5th grade also has 2 teachers in my school so it isn’t a big change. I’m going to have many classmates, some old classmates and some new ones. I will also go back to 5th grade I think for this year because Coronavirus is shrinking. We are going to still use Google Meets so we can see eachother and talk to the teacher. We are also going to need to adjust to the new scheduale which will be quite a challenge for me. I will also have to wake up at 7:00 AM because class starts at 7:50 AM. So not much time to do morning stuff. So I hope you enjoyed this blog guys! Bye guys!

P.S. If you have your own thoughts about school, write it on your blog! Bye!

Why My Family Bugs Me

Today, I am going to talk about why my family keeps on bugging me every single day. When my family calls for me from downstairs, I usually go into the hallway and then respond back to them. However, they don’t hear me so I have to say it louder, they still don’t. This goes on for about 3 times until they finally hear me. My parents tell me to blog every book I finished reading. That’s why you have seen so many book reviews. Another thing is when my cousins come over, my dad would always give us double the amount of homework. Y Vien does the same thing, as usual, annoy me. When I try to play with her, she insists I play her way for like 100 times. And when I chat with my friends (Zachery, Obed, etc.) she keeps on telling me to tell m friends that she said Hello. One time when I was talking to Mark about computer and technical stuff, out of nowhere, my sister yells HI MARK HOW ARE YOU DOING GLAD TO SEE YOU! I become embarrassed the second she says that. That’s why I would usually press the mute button when Y Vien comes into the room where I’m talking to Mark over the computer. So that is why my family bugs me out sometimes and why it annoys me. Bye guys.

Book Review #999

Today, I have finished another book and now forced to write another book review! The main character is Max Einstine and she loves science and technology, just like me! The thing is, she doesn’t know where her family is and she lives in an apartment. She had the idea of turning horse manure into electricity. She joined a group of refugees that study energy and technology. It was a great idea. She was going to fly on a private jet to Africa to install solar panels. But before that, she needed to go to a super hard test. 50 questions and 8 hours to complete it. Max doubt that she would pass it, but to her surprise, she did! The next day, she boarding the private jet and flew to Africa. Once she got there, she met her teammates. The goal was to power 5 houses with solar energy. Her teammates started to install the solar panels. Max also helped out and installed the batteries. Once the solar panels were installed, the team let the batteries charge. Max flipped the light switch and all the lights turned on! However, in the next four houses, the power didn’t work. Max felt miserable and a total failure. The solar panels were cheap and low quality. Max called up the headquarters and the headquarters sent new solar panels. Then, Max and the teammates installed the new solar panels. It worked! Max learned that failures can be a success. The next day, all the teammates said goodbye and flew back to their home countries. The end.
