Our house is very secure and very smart. Walk into the hallway, light’s on. Not in the hallway? Light’s off. We also have cameras watching our house. We have 3 cameras right now and on Tuesday, we will get a PTZ camera or a pan tilt zoom camera. Our TV is smart and it connects to our “hidden” speaker. The speaker makes you feel like you’re part of the action and the hue lights can also sync with the media you’re playing on the TV. If you’re having a party, I can go to my computer and make all the lights flash in a party strobe pattern. When it’s sundown, I might even program the lights so the lights turn on until it turns off again at sunrise. I will also make sure the lights can be controlled by Alexa. So our house is smart, and in the future, our smart lights will light up the back yard too! I might ask my dad to buy me a smart plug and we will buy normal string lights for the back yard so the smart plug will connect to the hue bridge.
