Dad’s Trip to San Diego visiting U.S.S Midway

Here is a new post on my blog in which I have not posted in a long time. April 30 is a day in which all vietnamese people will still remember to this day and will cherish forever the event that happened in Vietnam. April 30 represented the Fall of Saigon in which South Vietnam fell to the communist side of Vietnam. Many innocent people had died during this time period on land and at sea while others were able to stay in Vietnam or flee and search for a refuge camp. In this case, my dad was able to celebrate and attend a memorial in San Diego. Here are a few pictures of the U.S.S Midway event. Enjoy [:

  1. I read about this memorial ceremony on the internet and am pleasantly surprise that your Dad was there. I assume you and your brother were there with your Dad too?

  2. Very glad to hear from you; specially in such a special event like “Apr. 30th, 1975”, Nhi! When does your summer break start, and do you have any plan for it yet?

  3. Summer vacation does not start until June 23 for me unfortunately.

My dad was the only one that went to San Diego because me and my brother had to go to school 🙁
