i am irritated

sometimes i decide to go onto this website and actually read the blogs, and it’s mostly fine. but when i make the mistake of clicking on y vien’s blog i expect to see a hilarious post by some 6 year old who seems to only write for my entertainment, but i end up getting incredibly irritated. her posts lately are slacking, now i know that i post every millennia but at least i don’t put my family members into a ranking (because it’s kinda egotistical and i am a humble servant of god) or make pointless arguments. now, because i’m petty, let me tell you why y vien needs to do a little more research.

first of all, can someone go onto y vien’s laptop and log her out of my disney+ account. this is genuine. when tq went over there i forgot to ask her and now my chance has been blown away. last time i was in florida i just wanted to watch age of ultron and forgot to log out. now i have a bajillion unfinished movies on my continue watching. another note; y vien, why do you only watch the same three movies. endgame, age of ultron, and MoM. that’s it. occasionally wandavision shows up. do you not watch anything else? is that why your marvel knowledge is worse than the average 3 year old’s memory? also, the other day i tried watching age of ultron, and i paused it to watch the next day, and boom. SOMEONE crashed it. it is so annoying to go into my account and see y vien’s circulation of 4 movies a day(THAT SHE DOESNT EVEN FULL WATCH SHE LEAVES IT HALFWAY FINISHED CAUSE HER ATTENTION SPAN IS EQUIVALENT TO THAT OF A GOLDFISH)

you can’t argue that wanda is the strongest avenger if you’ve never watched a single thor movie, or any other movie that doesn’t have wanda in it. of course you think wanda is the strongest avenger if you ONLY watch movies with her in it. also, the captain marvel post was actually hilarious. knee slapping. you should become a comedian y vien. have you watched the captain marvel movie? i doubt you have the attention span for it. and the whole thing about wanda having the power of all the inifinity stones, bullcrap. you cannot be considering that YOUTUBE SHORTS is a reliable source of information. if you actually paid attention to any of the movies you watched, you would realize that wanda doesn’t just have the power of the mind stone, she’s also the scarlet witch. which is a whole different thing from the infinity stones. if she had all the power of the stones, she would probably be the super baddest villain ever, she almost is.

the important thing here is that my disney+ account is for two parties; me and my family(mostly me) and tien. that’s why it’s named “tien and thucs”. having y vien on there messes up my continue watching too much. it irritates me so much. she never even got permission from anyone to use it. i would respect her slightly more if she would finish everything that she watches and or watched ANYTHING ELSE. i am so irritated.

high school is overrated

first day was mediocre, considering absolutely nothing happened and it was mostly me getting lost and other freshmen trying to survive. i had a decent first three days, i got used to the routine and settled in. and then all the work piled on like crazy and i began to hate every second of it. i have gym last hour, which is the luckiest class since it’s at the end of the day and i won’t have to be sweaty and smelly in the rest of my classes. however, every time i get into mom or thucdan’s car, they HAVE to tell me how much i smell. thanks. i got put into algebra 1, the class i took in seventh grade. i expected to be put into algebra 2 since i already took algebra 1 and geometry in middle school, but my counselor said something about my middle school class credits weren’t eligible for high school since my middle school wasn’t in the same district as my high school. i would’ve taken this as an answer but my friend, in the same situation as i’m in, got put into algebra 2 honors. i would claim this is racism but my friend is south asian so it’s not a very evidence-backed-up claim. so now i’m stuck in algebra 1 for a whole semester until i can test out of geometry and into algebra 2 next semester, i’m wasting time in this dumb class filled with dumb people. my english class is boring but there’s a few entertaining people which is nice i suppose. my production design class might be my favorite cause the teacher is pretty laid back but still fun. but, i have a lot of friends in pe so they might be tied.

anyways, high school is cool.

we took a two hour bus ride to the train station. and then a two hour train ride to another bus station located in a city in the mountains, really nice by the way. i don’t remember the exact name of the city but it was pretty cool i guess. there were a lot of little shops and restaurants everywhere. there were also a lot of racist restaurant employees which made me want to punch everyone in sight. we had to go into a small motel and drop off all our stuff before getting on the bus up to the ruins. by the way, i wanna know why khoi is so petty about wherever we stay. he’s always complaining about the smallest things, like, yeah all the places were kinda crappy but i can’t blame cau for struggling to find a nice place to stay, on a budget, in a foreign country. every time khoi would complain i wanted to kick him out and make him sleep on the streets. anyways, we had to take a bus all the way up the mountains, where we  would hike a little ways up and see the ruins. another reason why i don’t particularly enjoy traveling with khoi and y vien; they get very motion sick. which, isn’t their fault, i know, but that makes it harder for the kids to actually enjoy what’s happening and just makes it harder for everyone else. yeah sure, pay a lot of money for your kids to go up mountains and fly on planes and ride trains, even if they get motion sick, it’s about the experience right? i think they’ll forever remember peru as the place that made their heads fall off. also, i think thucquyen wasn’t used to the constant changes of transportation and speeds, the bus, then a train, then another bus, and then climbing up the mountain. and she was having a hard time breathing. but yeah, make her scale the mountain for a few pictures. i wasn’t really having any major problems throughout the whole trip but seeing everyone else have so many difficulties, it was hard to enjoy myself. i was barely even looking at the ruins cause i kept hearing khoi and y vien complain about how they wanted to get down. i feel like if we had waited until they were older to bring them along with us on all our trips i would be able to tolerate them more. it’s whatever though, nobody ever listens to me. the ruins were cool though, i wonder how long until a walmart gets built there. i’m joking i’m pretty sure it’s a natural reservation or whatever it’s called. machu picchu experience: 7/10

cusco! cuzco? emperor’s new groove was kind of iconic. was.

we took a plane from lima to cusco and a van up to the airbnb. when we got off everyone seemed tired and dizzy, especially khoi and y vien. thucquyen and i seemed okay until after we got into the airbnb and we realized that the high altitudes were making us all very dizzy. we all needed to go eat but khoi and y vien were so dizzy that we left them with thucquyen while we went to eat. we found this very small but cute and super good restaurant, very nice. we all got nice food and we’re eating but dad felt really sick so we left early to go take him to the house and lay down. cau ngan had found out the hotel right next to the house was much better quality and bought two rooms. except nobody had the strength to even get up and move to the rooms, so it was me and mom in one room and grandma and ba hong in another room. it was a really nice hotel that also offered oxygen through a tube for anyone who was so dizzy and needed it. which we used to our advantage. i felt fine after a super long shower, and when i went back to the house i saw a bunch of dead bodies. for sure, we would have to get out of here as soon as possible. i honestly didn’t really have anymore headaches or problems after a shower, so maybe everyone’s problem was that they were stinky. i tried telling everyone that the hotel was great but they’d rather suffer there then get and move and then suffer more. maybe it was the house, but our experience of cusco wasn’t very luxurious.

about a week after staying in cape coral, my family drove to miami, and we flew to lima, peru. with just the five of us, it was actually pretty cool and chill, but i knew that once cau ngan and the rest of his family arrived, it would be a reoccurring nightmare i get every time we travel internationally with him. but the first night was great! just the five of us, we bought a bunch of quail eggs which were really good and we ate a small restaurant aside the road. the airbnb wasn’t that great but i thought it was pretty decent, and i knew khoi and y vien would disagree with me. gladly, i fell asleep by the time they arrived. lima is very cool, there’s a lot of really wide streets with barely any cars, and a small chinatown where we had dim sum. we walked around a lot and even took a metro, which was an experience. a very squishy experience. and then for dinner we ate a vietnamese restaurant. i feel like he always does this. “lets go to a foreign country and then eat food that isn’t originally from that country!” i was dying to eat an empanada. also y vien got really fussy that evening, probably cause we’d been walking around all day. but then i was talking to her about car traffic or something, and then she told me to throw myself into traffic. how exciting. like i said, khoi and y vien did not like the airbnb, they complained about the water temperature, the lights, the wifi, even the windows. i thought it was cozy. thucdan, thucquyen, and i slept on the same bed the last night, but now that cau’s family was here, one of would have to sleep with y vien. i lost the rock paper scissors game, so i had to sleep with that little gremlin.

i do not like florida. and when mom bought a house in florida, i did not like it. and when i had to stay in said house in florida, i did not like it. it was a daily grind of rice and soup, watching y vien choose her atrocious videos on the tv, swimming for two hours when in reality i was just treading around the perimeter of the pool, fast food dinner, scuffed movie night, and a difficult sleep due to y vien’s constant babbling and sleep-kicking. now the first week we were in cape coral, it was manageable, we had khang, nam and bien, so it was exceptionally better. but the second week, the week after we left the boys in ohio, it was practically hell. the air conditioner broke. so cau and khoi had to buy two bulky air conditioners, which i thought we didn’t really need. i thought the heat was fine, as an arizonan myself, but the next day we all started to really feel the heat. every few minutes you would have to get up and stand in front of the machine for a few minutes before sitting down again only to get up not even twenty minutes later. then mom and dad came, grandma and ba hong came, and thucdan came. so we were just melting in that house. dad and i went out on a lot of trips to home depot and walmart and such. we made a lot of unnecessary trips just because it felt so much better in the car’s ac than the house’s. and the ac fixers didn’t even come the day they said they would, cause of missing parts or so something. and even right now i don’t know if the ac is fixed or not. i know we’ll go back there maybe even this year, and i’m not looking forward to it.

like always, every summer, i go to ohio. this time was a little shorter than normal cause of all the other trips ive made and will make. instead kf staying the normal two months, it would be about two weeks. and this time, grandma was in vietnam so it would be mom and cau ngan watching us. recently y vien and khoi have been joining the summer tradition in ohio which has made everything a lot louder and more screechy. yay. summers in ohio are always more enjoyable because summers in arizona are literal hell. mom and cau still had to work so all of us just played and messed around most of the day. sometimes we went out to eat, cau took y vien and tq to see the new minions movie, the adults went to a nice restaurant one night, and nam, bien, and i watched totoro. khang chose this one movie one night, and everyone sat in the living room watching it. there was this one day where mom said that we had to bike to dairy queen. thats okay, bien, nam, and i have done it before. but then she said that all of us were going, so bien, nam, and i grabbed the bikes quickly and rode to dairy queen before the walkers. once we got there, nam made bien order for himself, which made him look like a doofus, cause he  couldnt even do that right, so nam made him go get the spoons, and he couldnt find them, so then nam made him throw away our trash. the walkers came about 15 minutes after us and we were finishing our ice cream as they were starting theirs. we left first, and nam made bien open the door. he pulled on a push door.

dithneyworld day 3 magic kingdom

Yeah I lied, we didn’t go to EPCOT day 3. Sorry.

Pretty normal morning routine at this point, I wore the dress that Tien gave me. TQ ate yogurt. I packed gummies for a snack. And then we set off for Magic Kingdom. This is the biggest park in Disneyworld and it has the most rides, so we would have to come back for a second or third day to finish everything. When we got there we had to take a ferry to the actual park. Cinderella’s castle is ginormous. When we got through the gate, we headed into a gift shop where TQ and I found the ears we wanted! TQ got the Electrical Parade ears and I got Tiana ears. Outside h the e gift shop we stood by a tree to watch the parade pass by. Frank was watching the whole thing and got a lot of interactions with the characters. Everyone loves Frank. After that we went in front of the castle for a show. Frank liked the show as well. Then we made plans to go to Fantasyland to get food at Pinocchio’s Village Inn. They had very good cesar salads for some reason. And Coke. After we ate the first ride we went on was It’s a Small World. A boat ride around the world while that stupid song plays over and over. It wasn’t bad at all. But I wouldn’t do it again. Then TQ and I wanted to go on the carousel and the line was super fast so that was a quick ride. Then we got in line to meet Tiana and Rapunzel. This line was unexpectedly a very long wait. But anything to get Frank to meet Disney princesses. After the princesses we went on Peter Pan’s Flight, I think that’s what it’s called, all these rides’ names get mixed up so just hang in there with me. Basically we ride above the city of London and the whole story of Peter Pan. Very calm and nice. I forgot what we did after that. I think we went to Winnie the Pooh? I think. It was another story ride that went through a whole plot. At this point we had made it to sunset and we had been in Fantasyland the entire day. The fireworks show wasn’t until 9:20 but we had to get a good viewing spot so we went to the castle and got a spot at 8. Annie got me a funnel cake which I was looking forward to the whole trip. It was good very very Disney funnel cake whipped cream strawberry castle Frank.  The whole castle had a projection on it with the fireworks as well and there was so much to look at. Fireworks are kinda loud though. Tinkerbell was supposed to come out and fly over the castle but since it was raining she couldn’t. After the awesome fireworks show we ate and Casey’s Corner and then had to fit one last ride in. Space Mountain. I thought it was like a cool space ride with planets and stars everywhere. It was pitch black. And we were zooming everywhere. I kept think my arms were gonna get cut off if I raised them. I thought I was gonna die. Looking back, the actual ride wasn’t that scary, it was just the opposite of what I was expecting. And nobody was telling me or TQ what the ride actually was so we were going into these rides mostly blind. Space Mountain scarred me for life. Then we got in the car and drove home. I totally forgot what we ate but I’m sure it tasted delicious. Normal night routine as always and sleeping wonderfully because of exhaustion.
