So last week was Thanksgiving and so we planned this big Thanksgiving trip even though my mom said that we wouldn’t travel anymore until after we move to the new house but we have taken like three trips since she said that so I guess that’s that. I don’t really enjoy traveling with my family not gonna lie, half the trip ends up being in a car or a train so you can’t enjoy anything and it’s unfortunate, but I just suck it up and try to have fun even though everything is kinda rushed.
The first place we went was Page. Arizona, which we’ve already been to once but we wanted to show Cau Ngan so we went to Page and stayed a night there and it was okay honestly not very cool I am just a child I guess.
The next day we went to Salt Lake City, the house was really nice I really enjoyed staying in the house and taking advantage of all its amenities, I also liked the backyard which was very spacious and large. I should mention that before we got to the airbnb we actually went to see some more rocks, i believe we even hiked but I can’t really remember, when you’re driving through rocks and looking at rocks for a whole week it really all blends together. In any case, it is pretty cool when we actually look at the rocks, but not very memorable, the only significance I can really point out about that day was the airbnb and the fact that we went to Subway. I enjoy subway a lot because my friend and i go to walmart very often, and because of this, we end up eating subway a lot since there’s a subway in the walmart, eating my sandwich really reminded me of her. Anyways, at the airbnb all the kids watched an anime movie and it was pretty fire I won’t lie, wouldn’t watch it on my own time probably.
The next morning I remember it being very difficult to wake up, this day was probably my least favorite, it had the most amount of driving, and I also left my favorite pair of earrings at the nice airbnb, this really upset me, I had paid a whole $10 dollars of my own pocket money on it, and it matched with everything I wore, so now I’m stuck with wearing some pretty extra earrings, but this only serves as a lesson to me I guess. This day was also unfortunate because I had to sit in my moms car, there’s nothing actually wrong with my moms car, in fact I enjoy everyone in my moms car, but it simply did not have my good buddy, my acquaintance, Khang. So since I really didn’t have anything to talk about to the members of this car, I decided to sleep. After a few hours, my mom yelled at me, saying she didn’t even know I was in the car, this upset me a lot because I didn’t realize I also had to interact with the car members, I’m not sure what she wanted me to converse about with Khoi or the old ladies, who I’m sure would much rather converse with each other anyways. Anyways I stopped listening to music at this point because I thought I should engage more in the conversation of the car, to my dismay, my mom and uncle were talking to each other about the stock market, Khoi’s grandma was listening to her own music, and my grandma was sleeping. The only person I had left was Khoi, who then promptly took out his laptop to work on his business website or something. Alright it was obvious I was not meant to engage in conversation in that car, I decided to go to sleep again, then the next problem arose, Khoi’s laptop was on maximum brightness, and the sky outside was pretty dark. I am the type of person to unplug nightlights, I can only sleep in pitch black, so now I had to open my eyes and look into the blackness of the road instead of sleep.
Side note, since all my uncle and mom would talk about is the stock market, I didn’t some thinking of my own. Some of my friends participate in this market of stocks, and one even quit his sport to do the stock market full time, which I don’t know what that even means but I digress. It’s just a shame because he had offers of from colleges to run for them, but he turned them all down, and won’t be running his senior year… for the stock market.
I remember telling my friends I had 80 dollars in my account, it was supposed to be a little funny, since it was such a small amount, they then come out saying that they had 800, this was pretty awkward, cause then he started talking to the other guy about the stock market, why do all of my guy friends participated in the stock market so wholeheartedly, it’s nice to see that they like doing something though.
Anyways we got to the cabin pretty late at night, it was in the middle of nowhere and was so secluded that there was no food for like 20 miles, we were in Idaho by the way. We needed up eating some hash browns and mashed potato’s for dinner, it was a struggle meal, as Khang and I like to say. The cabin was super cute though, I really liked it, and then my friends called me and I talked to them for a little bit and that’s it then we went to bed.
The next day we ate at a restaurant and then went grocery shopping for that night. The most significant part about this day is that we walked on a frozen lake. Everyone was super angry at us, but honestly everyone is a party pooper. I’ll agree my mom is reckless, but my moves were calculated, okay, yeah it was private property but I’m sure no one even knows what that means, because literally everything is private property, not just places with signs that say it. As long as people were in the car, they could drive away, I hate people who complain so much.
The end I’ll continue later
